Photos from 2007 of my Sun Conure Mina.

Journaling: In mid-March, Mina laid 2 eggs. She had only done that once before, back in 2003. This time, she didn't sit on them at all, but one morning, when I went down to uncover her, I discovered that overnight, she had plucked herself bald from armpit to armpit. Good grief. So I took her to the vet, and $200 later, was told it was a "hormone imbalance," and she'd get over it!

March 31 Nine days after the vet appt - starting to see new feathers.

April 7 Another week - looking like a porcupine.
