This is really wonderful! The colors look great with this and though I've not done any layouts with Webster's pages or Graphic 45, I have many sheets of both and actually decided to store them together, since I agree with you that they do seem to co-ordinate so well. Great idea of cutting out some of the bathing beauties to add here and there. Luv the photo, but can you imagine trying to swim in that get-up? Do you think she actually went into the water??? She looks like she was a sweet Girl!
Beautiful lo. I like how you cut out the ladies. I'll have to remember that the next time my photo covers up a great part of the patterned paper. Great photo.
This is incredible, the papers and colors are perfect. It looks like the ocean. You choose perfect papers. I love the photo. Right to my favs.I just received a few old family photos and started to scrap them too.
I really like the colors! COOL dimension and hand cutting too. What a TREASURE to own this photo! The cameo, lace and pearls add femininity. Very nice heritage page~
OMG! This pp is just perfect with that wonderful photo. Love how you cut out some of the ladies and inked them and popped the.
I've been using old photos with these Websters pages and I love them. This is going into faves!
Look at that bathing "costume"! It would be fun to do a side by side layout of a modern day gal in her bikini.
I'm loving your wonderful heritage photos.
This is yet another lo I've done of my grandmother in her bathing costume, taken on the beach in Ocean City,NJ in 1917.Just a few months before her 17th birthday. The first two I gave to my brother and sister. This one is mine.I wasn't sure about using the bright colors for such a vintage photo, but I think it's growin' on me.Let me know what you think! I cut out the flowers from Webster's Pages new line,Seaside Retreat. The ribbon and cameo are also Webster's.The background paper is from Graphic 45's new line,On the Boardwalk.I find that Webster's Pages and Graphic 45 usually work together beautifully.I used 2 of the same sheets so I could cut out some of the ladies that were covered up by my frame, and pop dot them.I decided to do the one up in the lefthand corner,as well.I also pop dotted the flowers. Thanks so much for looking!
