I enjoyed creatin this LO because in my old village, we have hills and vineyards and in past was common having a vineyard for many of the citizens. Here in the picture my aunt is eating a grape. She was at her uncle's field, where she lives now with only a few vineyards.
Nowadays, my village is famous for its special wine and it is known in all Italy, some parts of Europe and the world.
There are still farmers who have vineyards and they produce good wine.
This picture means a lot for me, not only because it reminds me good times at my village when people have nothing or a little and they were happy but it also reminds me a piece of my story and my origin. When I was a child and a teenager I used to harvest grapes with my mother and all aunts and uncles and relatives. We were about 15 people to help. We had a chat while we were harvesting grapes and laugh. It wasn't absolutely hard. It kept us attached to each others. Then as I lived far away, I quit for 15 years but last September in a sunny day I went again to help my uncle and my aunt to harvest grapes. It was very relaxing and nice!!
The journaling text is a doggerel for children about white and black grape.
