Great room! I have two rooms to choose from as I'm an empty nester. But I can't get the family to help. I'm about ready to hire an organizer/ decorator! Where did you get your furniture? I need a slightly different set up as I make handcrafted jewelry too. But I'm looking for similar type of style and organization.
Thanks!
WOW, wow, wow! Your room is absolutely fabulous! I want to come and scrap with you. You are sooooooooo organized! You should see my room right now - what a mess! LOL! Thanks for sharing these photos with us!
When I received a lot of the emails from scrapbook.com about your new up-loadings, I thought: "WOW!!! How many pages Alice did!" Now, I finally opened those emails and, believe me, I got a huge pleasure to see your scraproom! Not less them I get looking at your layouts! In this beautiful place you will create much more masterpieces then before!
Now that is a transformation! So glad you and your granddaughter got to spend so much time together, and a new scrappy room to boot? What a lucky Grandma you are! It looks amazing, and so organized~do you think she would want to come spend next summer with me and help me out-lol!!
This is such a great work space. I love all the storage. It's great that you were able to make this a multi purpose room. When I re-did my scrap room/guest room, I kicked my guests to the fold out sofa bed in the living and sold all the guest room bedroom furniture. :) I wasn't sharing no more. LOL
I LOVE your new scrap/quest room! All the wonderful cubes and bins in white look so fresh and so neat and organized. And your day bed is stunning. I love the quilt, colors and pattern!!!!! Just give me a microwave and I could move into scrappy heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beautifully done! (Oh, and I love the shutters too!)
Alice this is 'NUTS GORGEOUS"!! I took a look at each pic/post here and you have such a beautiful work space! (created with lots of hard work it seems!:) I'm sure you will enjoy it sooo much~ (PS I have been working on my room - and labeling each drawer and storage bin has made SUCH a big dif. to me ~ ; j
Wow, what a beautiful working space you created! And the papers you have...I would LOVE to see what is in your draws hahaha! Now it is time to make a mess , so we are surprised by the beautiful pages you always make!
I am so jealous, look at all that storage & TWO work areas?? Seriously, what a great room, really happy for you! Will we see lots of new projects now?? Hope so... Congrats :))
I haven't posted any layouts this summer because my granddaughter came down to spend part of her summer with me. We were busy transforming my guest room into a scrap room with a daybed. The picture with the queen size bed shows the room as it was before. There was a large maple wall unit on the wall to the right of the bed. There was a maple rocking chair in the corner. I gave away all of the furniture and bought a bunch of different storage cubes, baskets, bins and decorative shoe boxes that were on sale at Michael's. I also bought a new swivel chair, a daybed and cover set.
Although it's a small room, after we emptied the closet, we had room to create two work station - one for standing and one for sitting - and enough storage units to contain all of my scrapping tools and products which had previously been stored throughout the house. I even have a few empty bins left for new purchases. After we moved everything into my new room, we labeled all of the drawers and shelves using a new label maker.
I've now still got a guest room and a wonderful new scrap room. I'm delighted with my new found space and I know that it's going to serve me well for many years to come.
