This is SO beautiful Lisa!! At first I didn't even know what page you lifted. It's an old one. Lol! I love the punchwork and bling!! Fabulous lacing too!! Thanks for sharing!
it is so absolutely beautiful! hard to imagine, but just look at that split jump! terrific! she will be an awesome dancer )) glad she is going to university and not just skipping school for the sake of some cutesy dancer dream thingie. What a role model for Cassie)
what a gorgeous lo--with the bling, flowers, punchwork, layers, and distressing. And the pictures--amazing dancing and photographyl! And such a creative use of the lyrics for the title--love it all!
This is an amazing layout - one of those that takes my breath away - not many of those come along. I love everything about it starting with awesome photos and I love the colors, the bling, the textures, the layers, the punchwork, the frames. It''s just awesome!
These are various photos from 2009 of my dd's best friend from pre-school. Our families have remained close even though they moved away when the girls were in 1st grade. The top two pics are some that her mom sent in their Christmas card that year. The left is Emily's lyrical portrait from that year, and the right is during her solo performance in the IDC Nationals the same year. The bottom shot was taken in one of her dance classes around the same time, and I nabbed it off her mom's fb page. My dd is a dancer, but Emily is a DANCER. She's something special. These photos were all taken when she was 11 years old. She went on to a performing arts high school and will probably be going to a conservatory style university next year.
This is my example for my December Four Categories Challenge - Category One ~ Product: Bling. I have two large Prima bling flourishes and 3 gems to make a photo corner, plus gem flower centers. The twist is stitching, faux or real. I used long hand stitches for a laced look in some of the paper tears.
This is for the December Music Challenge - Lyrics. My title is from a lyric in the Christmas song (for the twist), Do You Hear What I Hear? "Do you see what I see? A star, a star dancing in the night with a tail as big as a kite."
I lifted DreaSlee's LO 'Friends are kept forever in the heart' found here:
