These are various photos from 2009 of my dd's best friend from pre-school. Our families have remained close even though they moved away when the girls were in 1st grade. The top two pics are some that her mom sent in their Christmas card that year. The left is Emily's lyrical portrait from that year, and the right is during her solo performance in the IDC Nationals the same year. The bottom shot was taken in one of her dance classes around the same time, and I nabbed it off her mom's fb page. My dd is a dancer, but Emily is a DANCER. She's something special. These photos were all taken when she was 11 years old. She went on to a performing arts high school and will probably be going to a conservatory style university next year.

This is my example for my December Four Categories Challenge - Category One ~ Product: Bling. I have two large Prima bling flourishes and 3 gems to make a photo corner, plus gem flower centers. The twist is stitching, faux or real. I used long hand stitches for a laced look in some of the paper tears.

This is for the December Music Challenge - Lyrics. My title is from a lyric in the Christmas song (for the twist), Do You Hear What I Hear? "Do you see what I see? A star, a star dancing in the night with a tail as big as a kite."

I lifted DreaSlee's LO 'Friends are kept forever in the heart' found here:

Thanks, Diva! :)
