Erinstevens64 - actually I gut the DVD rack at Amazon.com, Atlantic 82635739 Typhoon 216 Media Spinner - Maple, for $60. This was one of the cheapest that held a lot of product.

Do you happen to recall where you found the dvd rack? I have been looking for something like that but the ones I found were way overpriced. It was so ridiculous on the pricing I started thinking about building my own, which would not be that difficult to do.

My husband built the desk by using the IKEA cubbies and then framing - the actual desk top is MDF and then he painted.

Picture from doorway, showing the side of the entertainment center turned into stamp and paper storage. Cubes, drawers, shelves, and rails from IKEA and desk made by my husband. Also, shows the IKEA paper storage that I am using for wooden stamps - which I got the idea from this web site!
