Oh my gosh...so sorry for the flooding. I hope you didn't have any damage. You made a page so beautiful amid such destruction. The background paper is gorgeous and the distressed ink tag is quite the accent. Wow!
These are photos I took in March 2010. Three of them were for the March POD challenge.
Journaling says: After a snowy Feb, we're enjoying a warm spell now, which has melted all the standing snow. Combine that with almost 24 hours of rain, and you get a Des Plaines River that is spilling over its banks.
This is my example for my April Four Categories Challenge - Category Two ~ Color: Purple and Gray. The twist is wood or chipboard -- I have both. The bird is wood, and the book plate framing the date is grungeboard that I inked and heat embossed.
Also for a VLB Challenge to use a stencil or mask. I masked the circle pattern.
