Hi Tamara, Your die storage on the inside doors of your cupboard is absolutely genius! Like you said -x just close the doors and the clutter is gone. I wish I had seen your pic about 6 weeks ago when my new craft room was installed. Could you please provide details on how you did this? Are the magnets on some type of frame or cardstock? How are they attached to the doors? Where did you get your magnets from? Sorry for all of the questions? I’ve been ordering tons of magnetic sheets from Dick Blick art supply website. I can’t believe how many dies I actually have and I’m quickly going through over $100 worth of magnetic sheets! Also, the EZBinders are a little pricey for how much they hold. I await you response and will post pics after I set up my own “die doors”.
I updated my CD/DVD cases with a bunch I bought on Amazon and switched out my Papertrey Ink cases for these. I also store my smaller foam mounted sets in these. I used a tip from Lyndsay at The Frugal Crafter to loosen the adhesive on the PTI labels by using my heat tool and it worked like a charm. Those labels that come with the stamp sets are really sticky and I thought I would never get them off but I used the heat tool and was able to loosen them, peel them off and reapply them to the new DVD cases. Now they are all uniform and fully enclosed unlike the older harder jewel cases. I love this clean and simple storage and the cupboard looks so much cleaner and more organized. I bought 40 of them and so I have a few left over for new sets. Look for DVD Cases - no hub and check the reviews where others have said "works great for stamp storage".
