Give a Cheer
Photo of my son and his wife taken at their wedding in 2004. I used a piece of black card stock for the background. I cut out a heart from copy paper and then adhered strips of washi tape across the entire heart. The gold scalloped edges were made by adding gold wash tape to card stock and then punching 5/8 inch circles from the washi tape. I then adhered the circles around the edges of the heart for the scalloped edges. I also used the gold washi tape on cardstock to cut out the title work with QK dies "Merry". The journaling strips were computer generated by turning the background black and making the letters white. The smaller strips were from some old TH chat strips. The photo is also framed with some of the gold washi tape. I used some gold metallic water color paints to splatter the black background. Flowers and leaves are all fussy cut from a Mintay Flora book and layered. Some are popped up with foam for dimension. I also added some gold and white nuvo drops...but tey are kind of hard to see. The butterfly is also fussy cut from a Mintay Wings book. Thanks for stopping by!
