Description: This is my "lo" for the final round in ScrapSurvivor Iceland. The challenge was to create a lo using NO paper, No glue and No photos.
I used Fancy Pants felt shapes clear box to scrap in and on.
Inside the box I put the first babyclothing I bought when I found out that I was pregnant with my first born. Both my sons used this sleepsuit and only the first week in their lifes since it was so small.
I used rubon on the box and brads to fasten everything down. A lot of flowers both inside the box and on the outside. The 2 "tags" in the corner are the "tags" from their arms they got in the hospital.
The 2 clocks have their time of birth on.
The journal reads: " This is the first thing I bought when I got pregnant. Both of you used this little bodysuit your first days. When I touch this little bodysuit I remember 2 tiny newborn baby boys. So perfect with their 10 little toes and 10 little fingers and chubby arms and legs. I remember the newborn baby smell and the softness of your bodies when I used to hold you in my arms and smell your little heads.
I wish I could go back in time just to hold your tiny hands, press you up against me. Just to smell your babysoft hair, hug and kiss you.
Just for a one more moment...".

I have my fingers crossed for you!!!! This is a beautiful keepsake and what a clever way to avoid the no paper etc challenge. The smell...if only we could scrapbook that and preserve it too!!!

this is a very sweet idea, i have a box like this from biggest board chipboard. i'm going to have to save mine for something like this =) how did get the outfit to stay in the same spot? =p
