SHCG: Jesse, this is soooooo fabulous! The picture is great! You are both little hotties, aren't you! Your placement here is great and I love how all of the elements add up to a wowzer of a layout. I would definitely display this in my house in a shadow frame. It is beautiful!

SHCG - What a wonderful response to the sketch challenge, Jesse! I'm so thrilled that we finally get to see your lovely mug (& you BOTH look so cute in this pic). I love the red/pink monochromatic scheme & the layering of everything (I loved this challenge as well!). I really like Bren's suggestion of adding some white ink smudges to the red frame, it would break up the red a bit plus echo the white distressing that's on the background cs/pp. Super work, Jesse, this is lovely & very worthy of displaying for a spell before going into your book!

SHCG: I'm digging the monochromatic scheme, and I say definitely display it. You don't look awful, at all. This is a very sweet pic of the two of you. The layering is great and I like the texture to the flourishes, as well as the coordinating pps. I particularly like the distressed look to the bg pp, and I'm thinking, since you have a red mat followed by a textured red frame, it might be cool to put a few smudges of white ink on that frame. That way it will have the reverse effect of that distressed bg pp. Finally, I like that you've created a visual triangle with the flowers and their bling centers. I like them the way they are, but I'm also wondering if the subtlety of pink or clear bling might have better impact over the intensity of the red. Beautiful response to the challenge, btw. WTG getting it done so soon after it posted.
