Give a Cheer
I could not get a good photograph of this one to save my life. It's prettier irl. It's made from all scraps except the white mounting sheet on the back that shows the edge all the way around. The red cs is irridescent. The blue is white cs that I sprayed with Memories Mist. The r,w,&b stripe in the middle is a border I made for something else and didn't use, and the white mat is a scrap of glitter cardstock. I used Bazzill stitching templates to place the dots of Stickles and Liquid Pearls for the flourishes. 'Works' is stitched in black. The journaling says : July 3, 2008 Land O'Lakes, WI This year we watched from the 7th fairway! Awesome!
This is for a few challenges:
1) Scrap Your Family Events - Week 1. 75% R,W, & B with a twist to use black stitching.
2) Use Your Supplies - Week 4 - Patriotic. Use the colors of your national flag -- for me, the USA. I did the twist to include journaling.
3) VLB - Layout w/ R,W, & B, stars, and/or stripes. I used them all.
4) Use Your Scraps. This one is all scraps -- and I did the twist to show fireworks.
