This is Mother's Day 2008 - my dd was 11. I tried scanning and photographing the card and menu she made for me, and nothing came out true to the colors. They aren't this obnoxious in real life, but they were too big to use on even a two pager, so the originals will go in the page protector behind the LO. Pictured are the front and back of the letter/card she wrote to me, the envelope she addressed to me, the menu for my breakfast in bed, and the birdhouse she painted for me in school. For the menu, she used some of my old edge scissors and her own alpha stickers, 3D embellies and inks.
I used the April PageMaps, Etc. Sketch #2 for this LO. It was perfect.
I used some ancient product for this - that always feels so good :) The bling arrow was a spiral that I reshaped to do the swoopy one from the sketch. The bottom flower pot is a sticker that I popped up on foam tape. I did a light layer of white paint behind the title to help it stand out. I cut the heart with my Cricut. TFL
Thanks for spreading positivity!
