I bought 2 curtain rods to store most of my punches (saw this somewhere before). They all fit quite nicely here and I can see them, use them, and put them away quickly and easily. The smaller ones that don't fit on the rod are on the little shelf below, and the shelf partially hides the electrical outlet (another bonus).
I like having an outlet at counter level, for my heat gun, but also so a cricut can be plugged in when bug-owning friends come to scrap with me. It's not very pretty though. Says the woman with hundreds of visible screws in her walls.
