Hello everyone! My name is April and I just love scrapbooking! I got started back around June and I'm totally hooked.
I've always loved taking pictures and I think it's great that I've found a way to express how I feel about them. It makes me feel good about myself when I can create a great looking layout that also tells a story...
I've been married to my gorgeous hubby Mark for 10 years, and we have 2 beautiful daughters, Emily & Madison. I'm lucky enough to get to be a stay-at-home-mommy with them and I love it!
I am very blessed with my family and thank God everyday for them...
Currently I'm just working on whatever hits me at the moment. Most of the pics I end up scrapping these days are of my beautiful daughters and of course those are my favorites...
I'm also doing an album with nature pictures that I take, along with some of my favorite Bible verses. I'm really enjoying working on it because it lets me express my love of nature, taking pictures, Bible verses and God all in one! Searching for just the right verse to match up with each picture is very soul soothing. It's also a wonderful chance to spend some special time with God.
My next album will be about my weight-loss journey. I started Weight Watchers on 9/17/08 and so far (as of 4/8/09), I've lost 26 lbs!
I'm pretty happy about it and want to try to do a layout each month with my stats and thoughts, along with a pic. Hopefully soon, I'll be able to see a difference!
