Great Way to Organizing Bits and Pieces II (13 June 2008)

I purchased this drawer and the bins to fill it after purchasing the 3x3 drawers. It sits on top of the 3x3 drawer, you can stack them together, or stack a group of these alone. The frosted plastic hides the visual clutter but lets you read the labels clearly. These products have transformed my studio into a well-organized workroom, and make it fun and easy to find just the bits and bops I want for a project.

    What a Treasure (13 June 2008)

This DVD contains the graphic elements (hence the name) from the discontinued Tim Holtz Distressables paper line. I've already used an image for a project on my worktable. It's easy to select an image, shrink or enlarge it, and print it on your own printer or use it in your digital scrapbooking. If you want the actual papers, select one of the companion DVDs.

Fabulous Organizing System (03 June 2008)

I am in the midst of organizing my studio, and I was looking for a way to make it easy to see what embellishments I have and get my hands on them quickly. I discovered this system of drawers filled with embellishment boxes, and ordered a handful to get started.

I love both these boxes and the rectangle boxes. They both have a different drawer, so order accordingly. They hold a great deal, especially small items. I can't say enough good things about how well these work, not only for organizing scrapbook supplies, but other crafts as well.

These boxes fit perfectly into the 3x3 drawers, and together they make a great storage and retrieval system for your bits and bops of little things.

I was so happy with the first ones I ordered that I just placed an order for more of them. It is brilliant organizing system. I felt the cost was reasonable for something that has become a permanent part of my studio, something I open every time I work.

    I absolutely LOVE these boxes.

The drawers perfectly hold the square embellishment boxes, which I filled and labeled. You can read the labels through the drawer plastic, which makes is very easy to find which drawer I need. They are sturdy, and have feet along the bottom that hold them easily to another drawer unit below.

I am now using them to hold supplies from my non-scrapbooking crafts as well. I also use one to hold ribbons on the roll, as most of my ribbons fit inside this drawer.

    I absolutely LOVE these drawers.

Creative Challenge (in a good way) (29 May 2008)

I took a class based on this album. If you are new to working on clear/frosted albums, a small project like this is a great way to start. Smaller pictures (3x2) work perfectly in this format. I discovered that Walgreens wallet pictures are just this size, so I had my pictures printed as wallets. I love the finished project, and I have a good understanding now about how to plan for what shows through the other side. It's a great size for trying something new.
