Difficult to cut by hand but have made many stencils using a heated cutting tool and my ScanNcut2. The ScanNcut2 needs adjustments to the blade depth and pressure, but works pretty well. My only concern with this material is that it will peel if not cut completely through. Otherwise, it's the best blank stencil material that I've found. Sturdy, longlasting.

They're great. Sturdy, clean up easily (when i don't let the paint or gesso dry on them). Great for mixed media projects, cards, scrapbooking. Especially perfect for me since I don't have much ability to draw. I own a box full of them and have not been disappointed.

Love these stencils. I use them mostly for cards and art journaling. They're a perfect size for a 5x7 to 9x12 page. They're sturdy and clean up easily. For use with acrylics, put them in water if you can't clean them right away. I have a box full. They're especially great for the person who has no ability to draw!

Love it! Made a garland in no time. Paper and backing are all the same size, making assembly a breeze. No trimming.

These tools are a must for metal embossing. Can also work well with polymer clay.

A great tool to easily distress multiple pages at once. And you don't have to give up so much of the edge just to be able to grip it. Nice look to the pages.
Takes a little getting used to since the amount of pressure, the weight of the paper and the number of sheets put through at once will change the outcome. But I can see me using this machine over and over and loving it. I take away one star only because the look is not like the "old fashioned" distressed pages that were torn and flat. It's a different look, but still good.
