THESE INKS ARE ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. YOU CAN USE A LIGHT FEATHERY TOUCH FOR A SOFT FEEL OR USE SOME PRESSURE AND GET BOLD COLOR!! EITHER WAY, IT LOOKS LIKE CHALK BUT IT WONT SMEAR LIKE CHALK DOES. THIS COLOR SET IS EXCELLANT FOR DISTRESSING OR AGING YOUR LAYOUTS. USE IT TO EDGE EVERYTHING FROM THE PICTURE TO ALL OF THE ELEMENTS TO UNIFY THE WHOLE LAYOUT. I LOVE THE WAY IT FLOWS AND EACH PAD LASTS FOREVER. I HAVE HAD MINE FOR OVER A YEAR AND THEY ARE STILL GOING STRONG.

Easy to use, fantastic colors, quality of product: this one has it all. The tool/ handle thingy actually holds a container on each end if you want to dabble with several colors at once.
The ink is perfect for distressing or just slight shadowing. The pointy edges are perfect for hard-to-reach spots. Because this is a chalk ink, the colors are not runny, but dry almost instantly.
Bought this directly as a result of seeing how Gabrielle inks her pages. Her work is so beautiful. I decided that if this helps her, then it should help me! Easy to use, not to dark, producing a nice chalky finish on the edges of the paper. Definitely a great buy!

This is so convenient and easy to use. I have said that I'm a lazy crafter which means this set fits into my category of crafting. I don't have to search for all sorts of additional colors for antiquing so it's marvelous.
These chalk inks are an essential part of my scrapbook supplies - especially the brown. The design of these inks makes it so simple to edge paper and give pages that little extra "something"

These inks are great for swiping across the edges of your cardstock and papers. The various colors represented in this pack are my favorites. I use the chestnut roan (brown) color the most.

I love how easy these are to handle. So easy to use on the stamp and small enough to get into delicate spaces without smearing.

I am a first time user of this product, and I really like it, and the tool makes it allot easier to put just the right amount down and change the angles when need be, being left handed I have trouble doing certain sides, and not so with this product handle. Together they make it pretty simple, I give this product 2 thumbs up.
Whenever I distress something, I always pull out my ColorBox cat's eye chalks. This product is easy to use even without the applicator. It gives a nice aged look and dries quickly. Highly recommended.

I wish I could give this both 5 stars and 1 stars. I LOVE the chalk inks and use them on just about every project, but I hate the holder thing. I found it to be clumsy and awkward and totally unnecessary, since the beauty of the cats' eyes is that you can hold them in your hand and get perfect control. I got rid of it and am back to holding the chalk inks in my hand. I wish sb.com would sell the individual chalk inks instead of bundling them with the holder.

These are one of my top 5 gotta have essential scrapping tools! They are so small & easy to store and carry so much impact! They are super easy to use, and they make everything look better! I find myself inking the edges of something on just about every layout now that I have these. For background paper I like to just take a piece of solid cardstock and ink around the edges of it, and you instantly add way more interest and make the plain piece of paper stand out! I cut out some flourish embellishments awhile back on plain white cardstock, then took and inked all over them with a pink Cat's Eye, and they looked so much better! You can use them on so many different things--including your photos. You will love these!
These chalks are the best in the buisness! Not only can you edge your pages to give it that extra pop but you can also edge flowers and other things you might want to put on your page. I enjoy using cat's eye chalks because they are easy to use and do not dry out easliy. The other great thing about chalks is that they are not limited to a single use they can be used as many ways as you can think to use them. hope this is helpful!
I use these everyday when I scrapbook. I have found that inking makes every page look wonderful. I love the chalk because it has a slight dusty look and looks like it has been kissed by dust of color. I also love the shape of the cat eyes, it really helps in the corners and makes it possible for you to get into all of the small spaces. The stylus helps in technique, and with making it just right.
i find that colorbox is my favorite ink brand. the quality of it is great. it definitely does awesome when used on the distressed paper look. the best part is that colorbox comes in so many different color, so you can use it on almost anything... and they're affordable and last a long time!
