I recently realized I had no documentation of all the great memories in my life.  I am determined to journal every event. In April, after a medical scare, started gathering pictures, and going crazy  shopping in my local scrap store and online! I bought papers, embellishments, stickers, inks and brads. I watched scrapping videos on YouTube for hours. Finally, more than a month later, I created my first layout. I am still unsure of the do’s and don’ts of scrapping but I am willing to continue on for my beautiful children. (Aged: 23, 22, 15 &11)

My husband is my biggest fan. He bought me a Cricut Expressions (which I have named Enrique) for Mother’s Day and has set up a scrap area for me in our loft. He doesn’t seem annoyed when the Cricut is making noise as he is trying to play his video games. 

Fortunately, I was able to take a basic 4 week scrapping classes in June at my local scrapbooking store. I learned a few techniques. I met really great scrappers there and I am looking forward to meeting other scrappers on this site that I can learn from.        

I am very excited about making scrapbooks for my friends &  family!
