• I am a mother of three beautiful girls. Ages 14, 3 and 1. I also have a 16 year old step-daughter, though we don't get to see her regularly any longer, we love her greatly and miss her company. My husband, Todd, and I met after I had been a divorced single mom for many years. So, we essentially started all over. I have a close relationship with my mother and a best friend who has put up with me for almost 30 years. (We met when we were seven.) Wow! That's a long time.

• Scrapbooking has been a therapeutic tool for me recently. I love the time spent focusing on the special moments in my life; my children, husband, friends and family. In a crazy world it is nice to slow down and remember that we do have joy in our lives even if things can get so hectic that we may not notice.

• This year I've been quoted three separate times in an online magazine (though they listed me as an anonymous contributor...) and I won my first scrapbooking contest (not a random generated win but a skill win..whoo-hoo!). This has been a real boost in my self-confidence where my creative side is concerned.

• My goal for this summer is to get my first publication. I would love to build a creative resume and eventually become a member of a DT for any one of the fabulous magazines and sites that I follow.
