Fuse Instructions:
Screw the desired tip onto your We R Fuse (pointy for cutting, wheel for fusing). Place your tool securely on the included stand on a level surface and plug it in. Wait at least a full 10 minutes for the Fuse tool to heat before attempting to use it to cut or fuse.
Warning: The Fuse tool gets extremely hot – handle with care and keep away from small children and anything flammable!
Place the material you will be working with on a heat resistant mat such as the We R Makers FUSEables Mat & Holster. Line up the item that you wish to fuse. Using the included Fuse tool ruler or the We R Makers FUSEables 12 inch ruler as a guide, press firmly and quickly slide the Fuse tool’s tip along the line to be fused.
Tip: Have multiple layers of material and you only want to cut or fuse some of them together? Place a piece of cardstock or chipboard behind the layers that you do want to fuse/cut, and the layers underneath the cardstock won’t be affected by the We R Fuse tool.
When your fusing is complete, be sure to unplug your We R Fuse tool. Allow the tool to cool for an extended period before attempting to remove the tip to change it, or putting the tool away.

I just got this tool and spent a lot of time playing and practicing with it. Very cool! It even seals cello bags so it's going to come in handy when I make little treat bags for my niece for school parties. It takes a little while to heat up and cool down but it's so worth it. You can seal in seconds and just about any shape imaginable. I'f I'm using it for a shaker card I can just seal using the outside edge of my die for a guide. I really like this thing!

As soon as this tool was available in the superstore I bought it and couldn't wait to play with it at home. Including the ruler guide was a fantastic idea and the instructions and clear and concise. That night I was able to create a planner shaker page with ease and it was super quick. This is my new favorite tool and would recommend to any and everyone!

This amazing tool has added a wonderful dimension to not only scrapbook pages, but also to greeting cards. It is so nice to be able to attach momentos to both (a sports medal, baby's first tooth, tuft of hair from first haircut, pressed flowers, the list is endless). These items look so much nicer on pages/cards versus just gluing them on! Love it!
I came across this item on a YouTube video, and instantly wanted it! And it works like a charm. I can
make my own pockets to fit any size photo I have when scrapbooking; the Fuse also works really well for sealing party favors, pocket letters, anything! You do have to make sure however that the plastic you are working with is thick enough, otherwise it will poke a series of holes and not seal..
I first saw this product being used on YouTube, purchased it and am so happy that I did!. You can do so much with this tool! I purchased this tool and am so glad I did. It is one of those tools you have to have. Super easy to use and I am using some older plastic pages I have had and didn't know what to do with. Now I know! Buy it, I mean it! It is awesome!
Its heated up fine an I tried it on a page protector, but haven't done a project yet.. I think it will be great ,I want to put my grandsons first haircut ,hair into a pocket!!!

So I noticed there are WRMK photo sleeves for the Fusion. I assume you can use any page protector with the Photo Sleeve Fuse?

I would probably stamp on white paper and fit the paper to the sleeve so that you can easily see what stamp you have in there...I can imagine with all the "clear" photopolymer stamps you won't be able to see them easily otherwise. But yes, you can make pockets for each stamp ... the stamped paper would help you remember where they go back as well! Another option may be to stamp with Stazon on the front of the pocket (or the back) so that you have a black image and can easily see what and where!

Yes for unmounted or clear acrylic stamps I think it would work or even postage stamps but I doubt that is what you are asking. You could take a page protector or pocket sleeve and make individual pockets in it to fit each individual stamp. You could lay it out ahead of time to maximize the amount of stamps in one page. Hope this helps.

I am having problems with my fuse tool. The plastic pockets come apart again with the slightest pressure. Can anyone offer any advice, and just to say I am using a glass mat, and am waiting for at least 10 minutes for the tool to heat up before using it. Thanks!

I had that problem to begin with, I think it does need to heat up for more than ten minutes to be really hot and then when you fuse don't be afraid to use a bit of pressure. It is a trial and error thing as too much pressure it melts too much, not enough and the coming apart problem. I practiced on a couple of cheap pockets to start with, just making lines - good luck.

Can you only use this tool without a paper layout in the sleeve protector? Or can I design a layout, leave a black space on my layout, put it in the protector sleeve and then add water fall pictures on top of that black spot to make an interactive layout?

This may have been asked, but I am wondering if this can be used on plastic sleeves that you use for documents - Obviously the plastic sleeves here on Scrapbook.com are out of stock and I can purchase plastic sleeves with holes for binders at the local store. Like 50 to a pkg. Thank you.

Yes! I started with "cheap" document page protectors as my first FUSE project. It does melt - a bit more quickly than my scrapping page protectors - which means you need to move along a bit faster with the tool. My first try, I got strings of plastic off the end of the seal. But, once you figure out the speed to move the roller tip for the project at hand, it's pretty simple.

I just received my fuze tool so haven't had much time with it. My understanding is that it does work with any of the plastic scrapbook pages, not just the waterfall pages. I haven't tried it with the page protectors that you can buy at office supply stores, so not sure if those would work or not.
