I love this stencil. I can't stop using it. Good quality and perfect for my art. I now wish I had bought the 12x12.
This stencil has 9 different images great for mixed media projects.
i have several floral stencils, but i really needed one for guy cards and cool backgrounds. this is perfect, i also use this with molding paste, and that also looks groovie.

That's a good question. I've never known them to be called anything else except a stencil for pushing paint/ink through the design openings. I think of a template as a guide.. so yes, they can be the same. Not sure that helped.
