This Brayer is great! It's the perfect size for #5 manilla tags (which is what I use the most), and it has a little stand (but it doesn't get in the way) for those moments you need to put it down but don't want to clean it yet. Also, it was half the price of the big, bulky overpriced version I found at the (ahem) 'national' craft store. Good thing I hadn't opened it yet--I got to make a very satisfying return! :D
The size is handy for inking a small area but the handle is equally small. I am going to try running tape around the handle to see if I can make it a bit more comfortable in the hand. Could be I just need to get used to it also. Nice ink coverage--you need to make several passes to get good coverage as the roller is very small so one pass doesn't cover much area. Good product for small needs.

Issue with the handle twisting and tightening around the roller but still performs well. Maybe wire wrapping a weave around the handle may prevent the twisting from happening.
I can't believe how well this little thing holds up to the abuse I put it through with my paints.
Have been looking for quite awhile for a brayer to use in my inking projects. Really am happy I found this one. Endless possibilities in my future crafting.
Love the Ranger Ink - Inkssentials - Inky Roller - 2.25 Inch Mini Brayer. I think this is my 3rd or 4th one over the years, none of which have gone bad, I just misplace them and rather than spending days looking for them I buy another one. This one I plan to keep in my carousel so I can keep up with it since I'm finding more reasons to use this product more often.
The 2-1/4" brayer is perfect for spreading small amounts of paint in my art journals, layouts, or basically any project you are working on. If you're new to using brayers I would recommend rolling the brayer through paint in one direction then pick up the brayer and repeat. There are plenty of YouTube videos you can google for more information and uses.
