These dies are great for cutting felt by itself but I found another way that makes an even smoother cut, and presses the felt really nicely. When you cut your shape, put a piece of card stock or paper both in front of felt and the back of it (creating a sandwich w/the felt between the paper) cut your shape and ta-dah, lovely pressed cut felt - and 2 more cuts of the same shape. I also recommend using a color paper or card stock that matches your felt, as you can also adhere that to the felt itself, making it easier to work with and easier to lay on your project or page (most of the time unless you need to wrap it around something, then don't back it w/paper), use your sticker maker or a roller adhesive to adhere card stock to felt - way better than double sided tape or glue, and has yet to bleed through on me.
