Suffolk County Scrappbook stores

I am going to Wading River, Long Island which is in Suffolk county for a weekend crop....anyone know of any scrapbook store out there???? not chain stores. Thanks for the info

Yup, I happen to live in Nassau county. There is one on the South shore, kind of perpendicular to Dix Hill.

I've never been there but other people tell me their very helpful. I still shop most of the big chains. The prices are usually a lot cheaper for the stuff I need. If you go I'd be curious to see what you think.

"Not Just Scrap" in Centereach. I haven't been there-- only get emails.
Someone else mentioned "Scrapper's Playground"-- I've been there. Nice store. Good deals for those on the email list.

I live in Nassau, too. I've only been to 2 scrapbook stores (one was in PA). I've been to "Scrapper's Playground" a few times. They have BEAUTIFUL products-- YES, more expensive than the big guys, but it's nice to buy some pretty coordinating items, like paper and embellishments.
If you sign up for their emails-- they also have coupons.
BTW--- where do you live? I'm in Freeport and work in Valley Stream.
