I just got this blender pen and now I'm wondering what to do with it and how to use it...if anyone has used it, your help would be greatly appreciated....

I've seen several posts about this topic on other message boards. I think people use the blender for blending stamping inks, and to blend pigments such as Pearl Ex. I've never really heard the official word though on Pearl Ex, as far as being archival or safe for scrapbooking. I have seen some blended Pearl Ex techniques, and they are awesome. You might check out some stamping websites - dragonhome.com is a good one for techniques, has links too. HTH

I have a blender pen that I use with my watercolor pencils. I got it from Stampin' Up. After I do a little coloring in with the pencils, I take the blender pen and blend the color in. I use it for one color at a time - that's just my choice. After I finish with one color, I clean the blender off by using a scrap piece of paper and just "blend" on the scrap. Once the spot on the scrap is clear, its clean.

OH! I love my blender pen! It's so great to use to create some subtle color. My two favorite things:
When stamping an open image (for example a flower), use the blending pen to pull the color inward (toward the center of the flower). This way you'll have darker color around the outline of the image and a lighter shade inside. This works best on glossy or coated paper.
My second favorite thing is to use the pen to collect the excess ink that sometimes collects on a stamp pad lid. This creates a nice, soft watercolor look (not as vivid as markers).
