Computer images take a long time!

I am trying to set and print pictures from the baby shower I gave my best friend. It's taking forever! LOL......I appreciate being able to size pics way I want to though. I've been at it (with a few interruptions) for a few hours now. However, I did get me a Fiskars 12x12 paper cutter though (the one that slides) so it maeks it somewhat easier.

It sounds like you have to many things running at the same time. If you have more than the printer and picture program running it will take you forever to print pictures....either that or you need to defrag your computer really badly.

It should usually take about 1 hour to print pictures depending on your computer's speed....or at least that is the longest it's taken me in my experiances.

oh no, it wasnt the printing part......it was the cropping, sizing, setting color levels, etc etc etc

Oh that you need a great computer photograph program for...I know the adobe and the roxio photo labs set the colors automatically for you when you ask it too....then its just adjusting it to the way u like...which takes 5 minutes.

I sometimes find it time consuming too. I don't like to delete the original files once I crop/size/color them...so I have digital pictures like you wouldn't believe. It can be frustrating...I know. I do find that sometimes it is just better to leave the size alone and just adjust the color. Once you print it, physically crop the photo to the size or area you want. Just an idea that might save you some time!! Good luck...take a chocolate break...that ALWAYS helps you think!

What I do like about it is I can make some pics like 3 or 4 inches so can get more on there! And have the promiennt pics...........
I guess I am just someone who likes to do things myself. I worked on two newspapers and I just dont like the way auto processing, and auto levels works.....usually makes it look crappy! even on Photoshop (though it does a better job than others sometimes). I just like my little bell curve histogram thing to set the levels myself.......so I gues im askign for it to take a long time!
