Removing EYELETS???

Does anyone know how to remove e y e l e t s without damaging the paper? Is there a special tool? I would normally just scrap the tag and start over but I used sticker alphabets that I can't lose. Any suggestions? I would crop the tag but, its angled in a way that won't allow me to cut the e y e l e t s off.

I just usually use my needle nose pliers from my MM kit.. to smush the flattened part back to the center...

Wow. Never tried to remove an eyelet before.

I would think it would be a challenge.

Without seeing what you're doing, it's a little hard. If you get the eyelet out, what are you going to do about the hole it leaves?
How about using Undu to remove and save the alphabet stickers? Then start over?

That was what I was going to say. If you don't own undo yet, it's definitely worth getting! I've never tried to remove embellishments.html" target="blank">eyelets before.

I'll try the pliers from my kit...

about the holes, I'm going to put new embellishments.html" target="blank">eyelets in I just needed to change the background paper.

Undo is a liquid that you put on the applicator that you slide under the corner of stickers, glue, etc. that will pull up the sticker (or whatever) without damaging the sticker or your paper or anything! It's safe for scrapbooking and I've used it for so many other things as well (like getting stickers off the corner of my windshield). I've also used it to "unstick" a mat from a journal box I got in a swap so I could run the top layer through my printer (it was too thick otherwise). It's so worth the money! I used the MM needle to pull the back part up to the center. After I re-posiitoned my item, I reused that same eyelet in the same hole. I don't know what you can do with the hole unless you put a different scrap or piece just over the hole.
