Big shot plus

Hi all,

Just a quick question.

I'm new to die cutting and just bought a sizzix big shot plus, really like it so far but my question is when die cutting is it normal for the cardstock (300gsm) to warp.

I've only used it once.

It happens. You could heat the cs with your heat gun and it will flatten.
You might turn your cs 90Âº. It could be a grain problem.

Good to know! Thank You Don1...I've had my big shot plus for bout a year but figured it was me... I get all kinds of weirdness with my paper supplies since I moved to a hotter climate. Lol but stuff seems to happen to me.
I have also noticed a lot of my plastic items cracking or breaking. I never knew. Also my rubber bands literally dried up, then cracked/ broke. Weird but that's normal for rubber bands. Now that I know that one, I seal my rubber bands in old (cleaned) pill bottles. I'll find out next year if it's working. I had replaced my damaged and unusable bands and bought a big bag of #10 rubber bands. Yes I use that size more than any other. Also the small pigtail sized ones from the hair care aisle. I would fall apart without my rubber bands. 😸
