My "Our Three Sons Layout "- Am I that old?

I know I'm old now. I have received numerous compliments on the "Our Three Sons" layout that appeared last weekend. Thank you everyone.
And, with those comments, have come the questions of why I used feet. Here's why. In the "olden days" when I was a child, there was a weekly program on TV called My Three Sons. It was about a single dad with three sons. I loved the show and never dreamed that one day I would have three sons of my own. Nick at Night sometimes airs the show. If you get a chance to watch it, you'll be justly entertained.
Anyone else remember "My Three Sons"?

I am getting old...LOL
The reason that I used the feet is because in the opening of the show, as the theme song played, there were three pairs of various aged shoes showing (one tapped it's toe). Then hands swooped down from each side of the screen and "spilled" out the names of those that appeared on the show. It was taking too long for me to do the hands, so I connected the letters with a shoelace.

I only remember it from reruns, but I knew exactly what you were going for and I LOVED it! I'm glad the hands took too long, I think the simple picture speaks volumes.
I don't have three sons, but darned if I'm not racking my brain tryiong to come up with ways to use that whole picture background with or without the feet.

You are NOT old (I refuse to say I am OLD!! I turn 40 this year)!! Boy, do I remember that show! I loved it! I also loved the layout. I thought it was so cute! Very original.

I remember My Three Sons! we used to watch it all the time. Although it was probobly on reruns. I liked the idea with the feet. After looking at your layout though, I must complain that I had that dorky theme song for the show stuck in my head for a few hours. The worst is there's not even words!! it was just a tune running around that wouldn't go away.

I used to watch it too - (not reruns, the real thing!) I remember Uncle Charlie who used to take care of them & then the oldest son (Rob?) got married - I think her name was Katie & then they had triplets. Didn't the dad eventually get married too?

Oh dear! I thought your layout was fantastic. But now I'm feeling a little concerned that I knew immediately what you were going for.
Oh well, maybe I'm just richer for having lived through the golden age of TV (were the 60's really golden?)

I loved your layout! It actually started something at our house. I was in my office humming the theme song after looking at your layout, which got my husband going on theme songs. He went from Bonanza to Green Acres to Petty Coat Junction. His grand finale was the Fig Newton song, little dance included (yes, he is a little scary). I think I might have found the perfect Halloween costume for him this year!
Guess we're old too.
