My Stickles are Stuck!

I recently bought a bottle of yellow stickles from a stamping store that I suspect does not sell much volume of Stickles. Anyway, I went to use it today and I cannot squeeze anything out! I put a straight pin in there all the way (about an inch) and it goes in fine, and I can wiggle it around and pull it out, but when I squeeze with all my strength all I get is a teensy drop of glue with no glitter in it. I think something is dried up in there and clogging, like making some kind of a flexible plug. What can I do to unstick my Stickles???

shake the bottle a lot. then try the pin thing again. shaking breaks up the glitter clumps that happen in the bottle.

Thanks. Unfortunatley, I tried shaking until my arm is about to fall off. I still can't get anything substantial out but I can now definitely tell that there is a clump in there. Shaking seems to bring it into the nozzle. But even though I don't have much trouble getting a pin in there, I cannot get the clump out through the nozzle no matter how hard I squeeze. I even tried sucking up a drop of Un-du but I cannot get anything into that nozzle. I think maybe because it's a new bottle the clump is harder to shake out because there's almost no air in there to mix with.

This happens to all my Stickles.. I just shake and keep poking and squeezing until they flow properly on a scrap paper then I use them on my project.

You can pull the nozzle tip off and dig that clump out and put the nozzle back on.

I have been futzing with this for like 15 minutes now. Is that normal? I have 6 or 7 other Stickles and I have never had any trouble with them.

I usually don't have a problem that long. I have had to pull a few tips off though and then put them back in.. and some I have to squeeze and squeeze to get started. It usually only acts that bad the first try for me though. It could be that I use them so much that they don't have time to clump back up though..lol

I had this problem with a new bottle I opened yesterday. I messed around with it for quite a long time before I got frustrated and cut the very tip of the nozzle off with my scissors. It still works perfectly and there's no more clog!

I had the same issue, but just used a pin and it came right out after that.

That did the trick. I didn't know that the nozzle tips could come off. I ended up clearing out the whole tip with running water in the kitchen sink. I'm glad I did, because there was quite a clump in there. Now it works just fine. Thanks!

That happened to me once and took it back and they exchanged it!

this has only happened with 1 bottle of my stickles and there is nothing i can do to get this bottle to work...

I had same problem. I put it in a bowl of hot water and soaked about 5 minutes, then unfolded a paper clip and rammed it down the opening. It worked and I squeezed a bit out. so far, so good. I do love the stuff. Kathy

I have yet to experience this issue so it doesn't sound normal to me, but by the number of others saying they have...guess so. I hope not to have this issue later... good luck with your stickles.

I had this happen to me too with a bottle I got from a RAK. I'm gonna try this though and see if I can get it to work.

I just bought 2 new ones and one of them is this way...can't get anything out! Will try these tips, otherwise will exchange it at Archivers where I bought it!
