There is a scrapbooking show on the DIY channel. I don't get it anymore cause we couldn't afford digital cable anymore. I used to watch a scrapbooking show, one on papercrafts, and one on cardmaking. The lineup was never the same every week though so I had to check the channel guide on the tv everyday to see what was on. Oh, and they are all during the day on weekdays. I believe they started at noon and went to 5 pm.
PBS has a scrapbooking show...I think it comes on on Sunday afternoons. I used to watch it all the time but haven't in a while. I can't remember for sure what it is called...Scrapbook Memories or something like that. It's commercial free and is about 20-25 minutes long. They usually show some techniques and also some things you can do on the computer. It's okay...
As far as HGTV and DIY...I have no idea. I have those channels but I would say the scrapbooking shows are probably on during the day when I'm not home.
I have been flipping through the guide and saw Scrapbooking in the title...I get excited but it always ends up being an informercial on the Cricut...LOL...
Only Scrapbook Memories has any recent episodes, the Duvall show and the other DIY Scrapbooking show go back to 2002 or 2003. If your PBS station doesn't carry it and you have sattalite or uber-cable you can check if you get the BYU channel, because they have that show.
Those of you who don't get the DIY one, you're not missing anything. It's awful. The projects and show are ancient and the host isn't very knowledgable.
If you have Direct TV, the BYU station is included and they do have the Scrapbook Memories show. I found they show the same few spisodes over and over so I don't really watch it anymore.
yeah, I haven't really come across any great shows either. The Carol Duvall one was such a snooze. Crumpling paper and chalking the edges... yippee!!! hehehehe... I'm more of a YouTuber, myself. (OK, I'm addicted to the tube). If you go over there and do a search for scrapbooking you can find some cool videos.
If you want to fall of your seat laughing about scrapbooking, I HIGHLY suggest watching this video:
Also, if you check out CreatingKeepsakes.com (even though they're updating their site) they have some really great videos by popular scrappers, including the web hostess, Erin Lincoln.
Scrapbook Memories is a great one. I have satellite and it's on the BYU station. The website is http://www.scrapbookmemoriestv.com Also, go to paperwishes.com they have some great webisodes. I always learn something from them.
I also recommend looking online. Paperclipping (you can google it) is one of my favorites. She does both premium and free videos, plus a live show on Tuesday nights on UStream that's a lot of fun.
Scrapbook memories is better than DIY, but still not all that great. The technology girl bores me. I usually watch stuff on youtube. Craft TV weekly has great webisodes every friday.

Saw the youtube video...absolutely HILARIOUS!!
Ditto about webisodes and going to the Simple Scrapbooks websites for how-tos.
