How do i make blue and brown tear bear eyes?

Hiya everyone, i'm new to making tear bears and i've just been using black eyes with a white dot for the eyes of the tear bears, but i've noticed some people on ebay and the like have made gorgeous blue and brown eyes for their tear bears which my children would absolutely love. I've bought a printable page of them but they didn't turn out very nice.
Can any kind soul please tell me how to make these lovely eyes from scratch if you know?

What are tear bears?

Hi. Well, honestly its a pain in the butt to make the eyes that way. I have one in my gallery..an old xmas page with a tear bear with eyes like that. I made myself a pattern that I trace out when i need it to save the trouble. First, you cut out the white oval for the eye. Then a smaller oval of whatever color for the iris. Then lastly, you cut out a smaller oval in black for the pupil. Then you layer them together. Don't worry if the sizes of the ovals aren't exactly right. You don't want them to be too small..but if they're too big, you just glue them down the way you want them layered, and trim off the excess from the top. Then you highlight with a white pen.

have you heard of peechy keen stamps.they are stamps made especially for the tear bears.

Melanie in MT has great instructions on her blog. She also has a link to a place that sells the eyes pre made, this is the same place she gets her paper.

i tried to make a pair of eyes there yesterday right from scratch, I purchased a Heart shaped paper punch, and started from there. They really look nice made this way, but what a lot of work. My hands are clumsy...anyways if anyone is making more that a couple of bears your welcome to copy and paste these eyes...
