INK - Pigment vs. Chalk?

Thanks SO much! I am learning to emboss and I only have silver and white, so I am looking to get a primary set. I think I will be going with the inkadinkado pigment primary.

Pigment ink are often more light fast than dye based inks and may resist fading even in direct sunlight. Because of their formulation, when you have a multi-ink pad- the colors will not bleed into each color.
