Your favorite glue gun/glue sticks

I second the recommendation of Glue Dots or Zip Dry to adhere the buttons to the flowers. Every glue gun stick I've ever tried is not only stringy, but it comes unglued too easily, too. The glue dots and zip dry glue don't have those problems.

Let me clarify. By glue sticks I mean the inserts for the glue guns. I just use them to adhere buttons to paper flowers, etc. Not directly on pages.

Yeah, I'd never use a glue gun for scrapping, but I use just a WM gun for other crafts. It's been my experience that all glue sticks are stringy and you just have to put up with it. But my scrappy adhesive gun of choice is my trusty ATG 714!

I like scotch quick-dry adhesive. It's neither a gun nor a stick, so it's not technically what you asked about, but it works great. I also love the ATG.

I would say NEVER use glue sticks for scrapbooking. They are ALL awful!

My opinion is that all hot glue guns are stringy (maybe I'm wrong). Not sure I would use a hot glue gun for scrapbooking either.
