How do you clean stamps?

I use the baby wipes at a class I take, but at home I use good ole hand soap and warm water. It works great for me.

I keep a pack off baby wipes in my stuff and clean them with one of those when I am done.

So you mentioned needing alcohol free wipes for acrylic stamps? Is that also something I should worry about with rubber stamps? I really don't know what I'm doing and don't want to damage the stamps.

I use wipes mostly, but I keep acrylic stamp cleaner on hand to spray those before using wipes on them. You have to make sure you use alcohol free wipes or it will cause damage on your stamps.

The best way to clean RUBBER stamps is with good baby wipes! Seriously! But get NICE ones, because the realy "cheapies' will fall apart!
What is ALSO nice about them,si that you don't have to keep getting up to wash them in the bahroom or somewhere, jsut pullout a wipe, wash the stamp, throw the wipe away, and keep on working! PLUS, THEY WILL NOT HARM THE STAMPS!!!
    Good luck and HAVE FUN!

Which brand are the good ones...it's been awhile since I've bought baby wipes so I'm outta the loop on those...

Maybe I'm cheap, or frugal LOL but I use hand soap(gel or foam type) I use it for my clear, rubber and foam stamps and it works great.

Thanks so much for the answers! I'm definitely looking for a cheaper way so I'll pick up some baby wipes to use.

babywipes work really well to... or you can purchase stamp cleaning pads and cleaner. But I stick to the cheapest ways. Damp paper towel and a gentle soap.

I have one lone little wood and rubber butterfly stamp and one set of acrylic flourishes and a couple foam stamp sets and so far I have had success cleaning them all with just plain water and a paper towel.

So I just got my first set of stamps. I mounted them with no problem and was about to use them, but I have no idea what to clean them with when I am done.

Do I need to get some sort of special cleaning stuff? Do you rub them to clean them, or soak them in something? I really have no idea and don't really want to go buy anything special to do this unless I absolutely have to...

    Help! Thanks.
