Cricut Original or Cricut Expression?

I just bought the markers for it. I LOVE it. It almost does the job of a stamp :O

I also like to cut out borders and lrg. circles and I only scrap 12 x12, so it was the Expression for me. I think it's worth every penny!!!

I have the regular cricut, not the expression. I went back and forth with buying the big one, but really don't need it just yet. I get by just fine with the regular one. I think that once my kids are older I will want something that cuts bigger items, for school projects, but by the time we are at that point I am sure something else will be on the market. Cost effectively I would go with the origional... unless you really think you would want to cut larger items. Once you do get one, you are going to love it, I promise!

Now you can store the dies in plastic bins. The Cricut is a also a great machine, along with all the cartrideges. It's more expensive than the Big Shot. If you can afford it then I would go with the Expressions but you can do the same...

The Big Shot as some great dies. It can use all the dies; old and new. I have one but going to be selling it.just because of storage space. I have little of it. Now you can store the dies in plastic bins.

The Cricut is a also a great machine, along with all the cartrideges. It's more expensive than the Big Shot. If you can afford it then I would go with the Expressions but you can do the same things with the baby Cricut, just on a smaller scale.

i also have the original cricut. i have yet to come across a need for the expression. and considering the cost difference, i think the original is much better.

I guess it all depends on you.

What you like, how much storage you have....I chose the original cricut because I didn't feel like I needed more...but that may change.

I made a LO last month using the 'home accents' cartridge and made a huge flourish for the page. It was great to not have to hand cut like I had in the past. (see LO 'Bri' in my gallery.)

I say the expressions. I have it and being able to cut 12x12 was important for me. I didn't want to have to cut my paper to use in the smaller one. Have fun choosing!!

In know theres a topic about cricut or sizzix. Im pretty much sold on both, but am at a complete loss when it comes to their multiple machines. What makes one better than the other within these two brands? Can anyone show me what they have created with any of these paticular machines? Maybe I can get a better idea of which machine I need to use for the ideas that are in my head lol
