What's the big deal about washi tape?

Gaffer tape is similar to duct tape, except it can be removed cleanly. I've never tried the 7Gypsies stuff, though, so I don't know how it is for craft work.

I thought the same thing until I tried it. I love how it cleans up a seam between two pps that are attached to each other. It's also incredibly easy to use.

RE: Stick: It's kinda like ribbon in its use. Except that it's made out of paper and it has a translucency - imagine masking tape made out of tissue paper. I just started playing with some myself and it's a fun material. It's easy to use, easy to remove if you don't like it (so I'm really not sure about longevity), has a matte-ish finish, and the translucency is a fun quality.

I want to try it on my keyboard for my laptop.
