I tried to cut my same chipboard with my regular blade yesterday and even after 9 multi cuts it wouldn't cut through all the way. I think as you use it more and more you will see the differance.
Ok...
If your machine makes the grinding noise you do need to stop and get another chipboard. It can cut chipboard thicker than a cereal box though.
I have a gypsy which allows for more multi cuts. I have not used design studio in years so Im not sure if you can manually change the number on that.
I think with design studio if you do not remove the mat from the machine and then recut it will cut in the same place. once you remove the mat it never cuts the same.
