What does the cover of your SB look like??

my main one is navy blue cloth covered and when I got it I used a gel pen to put "This" "Is" "My" "Life" in outline letters around the inside corners of the (silver?) border on the inside of the front cover. Then I put my name (first and last) with gel pen in the center and filled in the letters (the others I just left outline). I used a stencil for that. On the back, I started using a small stencil to stencil the topics of the pages inside, but I left my stencil at my best friends who I believe has confinscated it! So I am way behind on that.

I kinda hate I did it in gel pen cause I cant evne wipe the surface clean with a rag (Im scared to try) and its kinda dirty. wish i had used permanent marker or not done it at all

Black pleather here. Thought it looked classic.

But, I saw a gatefold album the other day at my LSS. I am loving it, even tho I'm curious about all the hardware on the front... what will it do to the album directly adjacent to it? LOL.

All solid color CM albums.

Most of my 12x12's are solid colors. I have a travel one and a military one. I'll be picking up my two newest ones tomorrow from my LSS. They are http://store.scrapbook.com/ci-11347.html and http://store.scrapbook.com/ci-11348.html

My 8x8's are have different designs. I even have a cool one that is designed with a beach them and it has a plastic handle. It's too cool.

I mostly have solid colors.

I have 2 that I am working on now. A purple stripped that I have put my kids names on with stickers and a peach stripped that I am working for all my neices and nephews and I have all of thier names on it with stickers.

mine is nice light green boxes, got it at Walmart.. I love their books, they are very cute and some are funky!!

my "modern" albums are mostly just solid: one is lavender (mbi), one is black (pioneer), one is mahogany wood and goooorgeous (from things remembered), the current one is bright orange (mbi) and is full up - as soon as i finish the pages i've planned out in it i'll be moving on to a new one that's black linen with a window in front (Making Memories).

i've done 4 baby gift albums (3 sent, one in progress) of the same mbi baby album with whimsical sheep and duck pull toys in a pattern, also gifted a moss green linen with a bookplate (Making Memories) and am working on a gift with a brown (vinyl? leatherette?) scrapsmart album (by Scrapworks) in progres as a gift. it has a window in front that i filled with a plaque reading "journey" from emblessments.

Mine are all solid. I use CM albums and love them.

Many of mine are solid blue, have them different shades; but my wedding one is white with a ribbon, and I have some other colors; but I have theme ones too. Many have a slide-in place for a picture. Mostly I find them on sale, except for the special occasions.

I have a few solid colored ones that I've doctored up... traced shapes onto one with a sharpie, turned out great! Another I used acrylic paint, I did a soft rainbow on that one. The other 2 are still plain, haven't figured out what I want to do to them.

I have one that is black, red, and white argyle. I have 2 that are different shades of blue stripes. And I most recently have a light green 8x8 SEI, that are very easy and fun to decorate!

I love a few of my albums. I have a few plain colored ones that I don't really care for. My favorites are 1. blue/white check pattern for my sons baby pics 2. A bright blue/yellow plaid with vacation on the front for a cruise I went on. 3. greens neutrals striped fabric with button and ribbon to close 4. K & company's lilac colored album with flowers and a suede feeling part (love this one) 5. K & company light neutral colored flowers with window for name 6. K & company daisy embossed cover 7. Cute mulberry albums with sheer ribbon on them (really cute and from the dollar store) 8. K & company 6x6 with button pattern on it

I think that's it. I definately think it's worth it to splurge a little and get albums that are a little more unique. Best to use Joanns or michaels coupons and the price isn't too bad.

I have the Chatterbox faux suede in denim. I love it and they even have a soft pink faux suede one as well that may be a good choice for your daughter.

Mine is just white with a gold trim around it... And i just recently bought a black one because the white one is starting to loo dirty!

Mine is black. I stamped the word Memories on some cardstock, then mounted it on the cover.

three are just plain navy blue, one is navy blue with a gold border, one is royal blue with a place for a picture in the middle, one is plain burgundy, and one is plain red. Not very exciting!
