RobinsSpirit
I had my husband build out of wood a ribbon holder that I have hanging on my wall. It is sorta like something you would (and prolly could) use on the back of a door. I have cafe rods holding dowels with the ribbon spools on the dowels. I tied a pair of scossors with a long piece of ribbon to keep right there on the dowel system so I always have scissors. I also keep a yard stick next to it. You can see it in my gallery. That photo is when I first hung it up and not all my ribbons is on it in that photo like they are now. It frees up drawer space by placing it on the wall.
I don't know how to add a photo in this post or how to add a link so to see it you will just haveta go to my gallery. It is titled Ribbon Storage.
RE:
Angie Girl:
I have this thing with buying ribbon. It just screams "BUY ME" when I'm at the stores...so now I have tons, but I'm clueless about storage ideas.
Please share with me your ribbon storage ideas. Most of what I have is almost full spools (of all sizes), not much "scrap" lengths...so I need that kind of storage ideas.
Thanks so much in advance!
