I didn't even mention that I had to take apart an old beautiful album. I ended up taking the front cover and sliding it into the front of the notebook/album I replaced it with. I felt she wasn't gonna listen to that suggestion so I didn't bother.

Yeah, I agree...not my problem. Just seemed odd that she kept essentially asking the same thing and ignoring the responses. Made me wonder if it was a troll that knew enough about sb supplies to ask dumb dumb questions and ignore the answers.

The album isn't old either. It is a k and co one you can still buy and it would never ever close with anywhere near that number.

Just seemed silly. I commented saying that it basically won't work and decided to leave it at that.

I didn't even comment. I am trying to NOT get the flu or cold or superbug or whatever it is that's going around. When I'm trying not to get sick (AND expecting Aunt Flo) I can go from zero to bh in about 1.3 seconds.

There were 12 freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies left tonight, had been baked about an hour before close. They looked so sad and forlorn that I just had to box them up and bring them home. Brought 'em in and DH was happy. Also brought the children yogurt parfaits, Lizzie requested hers with no "nuts" (granola). Kid's something else.

One of our cars has two cup holders, plus the parking brake between the two front bucket seats is positioned just right that it works really well to wedge a cup in between the brake handle and each seat. That's four drinks. Tight and secure. If I have that many in a drink holder, it tends to be top heavy and I have to keep a hand on it all the way home to make sure it doesn't tip over going around a curve.

It depends. We can't see how many people are in the car until they pull up to the window. So the rule is, 2-3 drinks, offer them a drink holder. 4 or more, automatically gets however many holders they need. (We can fit five drinks in a holder, as long as they're mediums or smaller. Large, it's four per holder.)

I am pretty sure he made it very clear as to why she was getting what she was. I know he talked to her about her behavior.

We do that all the time. Explaining to ourselves why they did what they did in some sci-fi show.

Well, not even just sci-fi. When we watch some nature show or geography show on Discovery Channel and they go into "millions of years" of erosion or evolution, we just say they haven't factored in that exponential decrease to the speed of light.

There was one math equation (not really provable but fascinating) that has our universe at roughly 6000-7000 years old by the exponential decrease of light from the Big Bang to now. Thus explaining why even the most distant galaxies are still fully formed even though what we're seeing now of them is supposed to be billions of light years in the past. Older than earth even.

Love that kind of stuff.

Adhesives and film development (supplies for printing photos) are allowed in the Scrap Fasters Boot Camp that Rio is hostessing. But I've not done any of these either. I've got so many photos and such a stash of stuff, it's crazy! But I've been scrapping. Need to crank out alot of layouts if I'm gonna meet my volume goals.

I've not been able to buy much this month because I've been helping DH financially. Since he hurt his hand, they cut his hours in HALF at work. I've been picking up the slack and it cut into my money big-time. There's just been nothing for scrappy extras.

So I've been picking up an extra three or four hours on Saturday nights. Manager said he has NO good help on Saturday nights, and he would love to have me (I work my heinie-butt off) come in, even for only a few hours on Saturdays. Long as I don't go over 40 hours, it's okay. (Overtime must be approved by the store manager.)

Jeremy did say that when the tax refund comes next week OR with the rebate comes sometime over the summer, I can get rid of these wire racks and white Sterilite chest of drawers and get some nicer storage. (Wire racks and Sterilite drawers will be divided amongst the children, who need storage BADLY. Nothing will be wasted.)

I was going to get http://www.chandlercreations.com/site/1406927/product/CRFTtriplewhite , I LOVE it, but it's $700. Shipping IS included, though, all I'd have to pay is sales tax. However, I think I can do the same thing for half price with the white cubes from Target. Only thing is, I'd read threads here a while back about those cubes stinking to high heaven. I don't live in a large enough house to air them out, more like a tiny little apartment. So I'm not sure if that's what I want. M's used to have some, by Crop In Style , for $30 each, and you could use Coupons on them. Last time I was in there, though, they were either sold out or stopped carrying them.

All the challenges focus on NEW layouts that are done just for those challenges. But I bet a lot of us have OLD layouts in our galleries that were pretty much overlooked when we first posted them. Maybe we were new to sb.com and didn't know anyone, or maybe we didn't get into challenges in our early days. But that doesn't mean those layouts shouldn't get some love, too.

So this is the challenge to share your favorite layout in your gallery that was posted at least 6 months ago (before September 2007).

One LO per person, please - your first one is your submission for the month. (If there's a good response, I may run this next month, too.) But there won't be a limit on how many people can sign up.

And, of course, since this is all about seeing some of the best of the older stuff, leaving comments is a key part of this challenge. There are no prizes - just recognition for some deserving, older work.

I'll take Dove dark chaocolate eggs, or Lindt truffles! I don't like the cadbury eggs either. And that's amazing - I don't often pass up any chocolate!

I never had coffee and was only a hot tea drinker until my kids started having sleeping problems. Tea just doesn't give me the caffeine boost that coffee does. I know they are comparable in their caffeine content - but tea just doesn't do it for me! So I had to aquire a taste for coffee. Now I'm hooked. have at least one cup every day.

I saw your comment and I was soo impressed.. (so am I with Jenni's $8.00 Target purchase).

I said I was going to join Scrapfaster? Well, I bought another set of alpha stamps, some papers, and some Easter embellies. A lot less than before, but still not 0.

I have a 49% off coupon from an online store, but I may not use it at all!?! Because in order to justify that $8 shipping, I'd have to buy at least $16 (break even) or more..... and I already spend a lot on Easter stuff for the egg hunt party, and the weddings/bridal shower/birthdays that are coming up.

Don't know if your Js carry them. That's where I got mine (the CIS cubes) with 50% off Coupons . Check your local Js...
