how to remove rub-ons

Does anyone happen to know how to remove rub-on letters. I am late night scrapping and totally goofed up. any help would be appreciated. thanks

You can take a piece of Scotch tape and lay it over the rub on letters and then gently pull it up. Keep doing it with a clean piece of tape until all of it is gone. Know it works...I have done it...alot

I've had success using an adhesive eraser (the soft eraser).

oh I have a special eraser for taking off rub-ons... I'm trying hard to remember who makes it but I'm drawing a blank. I know is called an adhesive eraser and it looks litle a gummy beige square thingie..LOL... It picks up adhesives, rub-ons...all kinds of sticky non-wanted stuff

I've used the eraser that came with my chalk set. Works great!

I just saw a way in Scrabooks Etc. They used that un-do stuff and it looked like it worked very, very well. I like the idea of tape too.

The adhesive earser works PERFECT!!! the green crayon shaped thing. I use it more for rub ons that adhesive.

I use that brown rubber square adhesive remover. It works really well. I found mine at target for about $2.

thanks everyone. I used the tape but it didnt fix the problem. I ended up just using correction fluid. since i was needing to cover up black rub-ons on white paper. I will definatly look for that eraser though.

Great trick, I have thrown away lots of LO's with this problem before!!

I believe this is the sort of eraser that has been mentioned a few times already. In case anyone was wondering. I also use this in conjunction with my Xryon sticker maker to remove excess adhesive from the edges of pieces that have been run through it if needed. I use it a lot in other words. Definitely worth its price.
