Ok, now it's my turn.

I did this LO today. I love the pictures of my DD and wanted the LO to be just a great, but I didn't get the look I wanted. i wasn't able to give it the 'oldtime' look I had wanted to. One downfall to not being a stamp/ink user, I guess.

Anyhoo... TRUTH folks... does it look ok??

I just added two LO's that I did yesterday with my new cricut. Let me know what you think. I still have to add journaling to Friends, but I haven't decided on what color paper to use for that

BTW, I just picked up a copy of Scrapbook Answers last night, and in the 15 tips section, one of the tips had a definition on trapped white space and how to avoid it. Just thought I'd let you know in case anyone wanted to see it!

Just reading through this thread and love the idea of CHT! Ill be checking some LOs and giving my humble (very humble) but honest opinion. Dont feel compelled to critique my whole gallery (lol), but i'll certainly submit my next attemps here!!

I dont have a style in particular, I like many type of LO, I love white space (though I dont use it very much) but I also love busy LOs. I love simple blocking styles. I love clean lines, distressed papers and more or less monochrome LO (I have a hard time to incorporate more than 2 colors on my LO, but like the looks of multicolored page...). OK, I admit it, im a mixed up scrapper!! lol

OK, off to do some CC!

ok, I think I'm brave enough to give it a shot! I did this two page LO not to long ago, but it's gotten no comments, so here it goes, is it not as great as I thought?

okay - so i figure there must be something ab this one becasue i have 0 feedback -
i liked it - wanted to do contrast with the all black background -
keep one thing in mind before your critique - i am doing ALL my layouts in POWERPOINT! so i have no photo manipulation or enhancement - i also have no ability to rotate or manipulate my embellishments etc. - but hey it hasnt stopped me yet! its a digital LO so its not really embellished - anyway - i am always open for Good hard TRUTH!!!

shhbabymine: It might be that you uploaded your LO at a bad time of day. I know that happens to most of us overseas folks. Our good time is the middle of the night for the States, so by the time primetime gallery viewing hits, our layouts are buried 20 pages in and rarely get seen. Of course... that's just a theory of mine.

Hey I just reposted my son's first day of school LO. I left the old one up so that you can make the comparsion. Only two suggestions were made for this LO. Change the green brads and add some journaling. But I changed a few other things too. Please check it out and give me your honest opinion.

Deidre, thanks for the great idea about a subtitle on my "so new" lo. I'm going to try that this weekend!!! Love this help.

Thanks, Jaime! And thanks for your suggestions, too. Especially on those dress pages -- I was so stuck on the second one. (It's so funny you suggested sanding the edges, because in the section of the book I'm working on now, I just sanded the edges of all those photos! Will post in the next week!)

I am trying to incorporate pink and black (her wedding colors) everywhere. I alternated the pages pink and black in the beginning. It's making it a little difficult to pick PPs, though! I don't necessarily need everything to match, but I'll try harder to find paper that coordinates more!

taterdog1: I left you a comment... Just thought about something: maybe you could "dirty" the look of the page by inking everything?

Question to you all... What do you do with those constructive criticisms? Do you re-work on your LO or do you keep the suggestion for future LO??

I rework if I can If I cannot I keep for future use

So far, I've taken them for future use. But now there's a few I might rework. (Depends on how easy everything will come off the page!)

I've only requested a truth on the one LO and I tried to ink it last night, but I think it's terrible now. I hadn't really inked before (I always let scrapz do it for me) so this was my first attempt and it didn't go well. I'll post later when there is good daylight for photographing.

I've been keeping up with the thread and reading all the advice given. It seems to get me thinking a little more outside my very small box. That's a good thing. It was getting a little too cramped anyway! LOL

Ok, so I tried to ink the edges of the photo corners and the round tag. you can't see too well in the photograph, but let me know if it's an improvement.

Tay, reading your post last night I was picturing something SO bad (and feeling so bad for you too!)... And opening your LO I had to compare with the previous LO to be sure if I had the right one... It looked SO good!! And thats the cold hard truth, I swear!

Pink: regarding scraplifting the clock in my LO..
Go for it! I had actually wanted a stopwatch on the page, but Scrapz and I didn't have one either in stickes or paper, so I had to settle with cutting up the paper with the clocks on it.

Thanks, Tay! I think the clock turned out perfect. What a clever idea, to cut it from pp! I wish I could come to Italy and sb with you two!

WOW!!! thanks so much for all the feedback - - i love HONESTY!!! I made a few changes to the HERO Lo - I enlarged pic (not sure if still big enough??) also moved over words - brought them down and over a bit!!!!
