HELP! Crackle paint...

My crackle paint has gone thick on me... I haven't used it for some months but the bottle is still half full (or well half empty, pending on your mindset ). Have any of you got a good advice for me on how to fix it? Can I blend it with water or is it a lost cause?

The same thing has happened to my paint too. I used it a few days ago anyway and it still crackled.

I think you can add a little water. Wouldn't hurt to try it if it's already not gonna work, you can't make it worse. :).

I'd try putting a tiny bit in/on another container, mixing it with a bit of water, and seeing what happens. The other option is paint thinner, but I don't think that would work well with paper on a LO.

You just add a little water and they work just fine again!!

I have added water to my paint to thin it down. I just use a mini mister or other spray bottle to add the water. That way you don't add too much. Then take a popsicle stick and stir your paint. I have also seen Tim Holtz do this with his crackle paint on his videos too so I know its safe for you.

Thanks ladies. I added some water and stirred and it worked really well I figured as some of you mentioned that I couldn't make it worse, it was as ruined either way.

Thanks for heads up on water. I opened mine the other day and it was completely dried up! I actually forgot I had this bottle so if it doesn't work no love lost.
