Favorite Stickles colors

So now that I'm a Stickles convert, I've bought 10 bottles of my choice on a popular auction site *ahem*evilbay*ahem*. What are your favorite colors to scrap with? I've already got silver, gold and crystal that I picked up in a 3pack at HL.

i like the "white or clear" colors, like diamond.

I dont' have a fave color, but maybe that's because my stickles are currently under-utilized. I did, however, just make a winter page with the crystal one

This is just wrong! It's like asking which of your children is your favorite.

Seriously, I didn't think I'd like the bright colors like orange or yellow but I love those too.

If had to pick only one and never have access to the rest, I'd pick Crystal. It will add shine and sparkle without changing the colors of the paper under it or turning it white.

I just bought my first ones last month, I got clear and light green. I can't wait to use them.

oh and actually I've used the eucalyptus (light green shade) fairly often, too.

i use the yellow a ton! love them all!

I love several besides the good old stand bys of silver gold and the white ones ..they are
Patina, fruit punch, eucalyptus, cinnamon, candy cane, and holly
I really want to try mermaid

I love all of the crystal whites, diamond...
Mermaid, orange, ruby slippers and the Christmas green with red flicks, brown distressed...

I posted the same question a few months ago, and I suspect I bought my first ten stickles from the same vendor! After getting consensus on what others liked, I got my first ten, and almost immediately placed another order for another 10!!

Now that I've had them all for awhile, my faves are:
Orange peel
Turquoise (probably the most beautiful and sparkly of them all)
Cinnamon (a darker, more neutral brown than copper- copper is ornange-y)
red
black diamond
platinum

I mistakenly thought I'd get more use of the neutral ones, but I actually prefer the bright colours. Here is a sample card of the colours I have. If you click on the picture again once you open it, I think it gives a more close-up view.

Oops, I forgot how much I also love lime green and regular green! As Viv said, it really IS like choosing your favourite children, lol!

If you're gonna do a chart, I have some recommendations on that, too. Use cardstock. I didn't and you can how it warped the paper. Also use black since some of the Stickles will look very different with dark papers.

orange looks good on pumpkins/fall.

'Crystal' was the first Stickles I bought and it's still a favorite as it looks good on any color paper. I also like 'Diamond'. I can't say I have a favorite though, but I can say that there are two colors I'm not as impressed with. I don't really like 'icicle' because it's "chunkier" in texture and so you can't make lines as fine as the other colors. I'm also not thrilled with 'dark blue', I think it looks more purple than blue unless you use it on blue paper.

I too love them all I also have the distressed stickles and the glamor I just love using them but my 2 move very favorite is crystal and black diamond(esp for boy pages)

I need to try these. Any advice on how to use them?

I have one of the clear varieties (can't remember if it's crystal or diamond) as well as bright yellow and purple. Surprisingly, like mercytiara said, I use the colors more! Actually, I don't think I've ever used the clear one!

My favorite is black diamond, followed by Patina and Waterfall. I also like Orange Peel, and just got Eucalyptus (sp?) that I think I will love. I have a few others, too, but Black Diamond is the one I seem to have used the most.

Who asked on ideas for using them? I use them to embellish die cuts, to highlight things on patterned paper. Here is my fave layout I used them on (I used the black diamond and patina to trace around some of the design in the patterned paper):
