UPDATE-Here it is /Need Prom LO inspiration!

I am trying to pull together a prom themed LO for my daughter's senior prom. Her dress was royal blue and I'm having a hard time finding fancy pp as well as design ideas. If anyone could offer some suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe use a different color for your background and integrate embellishments the color of her dress on the page.

Did her prom have a theme that you could use?

DCWV has a black and white stack and a Luxury stack. Have you looked at those to use as a background? Sometimes blues are hard to match so a black & white bg would really make the pics stand out.

They also have a glitter stack that has black with silver glitter - like starbursts. I used this one for D1's prom pics. Her theme was Starry Nights.

You might also look at the DCWV Once Upon A Time Stack. These are not blue, but you might find one that works for you. I used this stack for D1's wedding album. Her colors were dark blue and yellow. A few LOs from this album are in my gallery.

maybe try background paper in red, yellow/gold or orange colors and see if they work to complement the royal blue. When I did prom or homecoming dace layouts, I always picked a favorite shot from my mom photo shoot and highlighted it, made it larger matted it fancier, then i also used all the other shots too only smaller.sorry i don't have any in my gallery to share. I am sure you will come up with something great,

i like the idea of black and white, too. and you could simply add a few small embellishments in royal blue if you can find a match; if not, silver flowers with royal blue brads or bling would look nice too.

Find a nice neutral color that goes with maybe her skin tones or the background and then incorporate the blue into pretty embellies..like flowers or jewels or a printed pp with blue in it as a mat.

You could do a shades of white page- would look beautiful with the blue dress.

Here is the design I did for my nephew's prom. I used the background paper to match her dress, the black for his tux and the pink to match the flowers she is standing in front of. I hope this helps.

Thank you for all the suggestions and for posting your prom LO! I was so excited because I found some Prima fabric fancies at the local Michael's in Royal Blue! I have a black Prima say it in pearls flourish that I had planned to use so now i just need to find the perfect paper.

i wonder if a silver pp would look good with those colors...

I look at wedding layouts in the gallery for ideas. There are so many that could work for prom. Our school colors were royal blue & my dd used silver papers too when she scrapped one. I also thinnnk everyone has given nice ideas too.
