big bite and crop a dile

big bite and crop-a-dile - are these the same thing except for the "reach"? I think the big bite punches in the middle of the page but does it do other thing(eyelets) like the crop a dile?

Yes, that's the only difference, I think. I have both.

I have a crop a dile but I go for the big bite WAY more than the original. My kids at school LOVE it when I bring in the "big orange hole puncher" they wanted to try to punch a quarter- I told them no. I have NO CLUE if it WILL punch one but I'm not willing to trash my toys! So, get the big bite and skip on the smaller one!

I agree, go with the big bite. I have the original which is great but my hands are not big enough to wrap around it so I have had problems with it.

I love that the big bite can be stabilized on a hard surface, I don't have to hold paper then try to work it, and I have better control.

I got mine from one of the shopping networks along with brads and got a great deal. watch for them to go on special.

oh yeah, I forgot to add- I used mine to set denim rivets in fabric too (I hooked fabric to matboard for a book)! And denim buttons. I LOVE my crop a dile big bite!

I DON'T have a Big Bite and wish I did! So go for the big one. I have the small guy and don't use it as much. If I had the Big Bite, I'd do eyelets a lot more.

thanks for letting me know this! I won't try it now. It's an expensive tool to have to replace if it breaks!

I never got the crop-o-dile since it could only go in a small amount. But when they came out with the Big Bite, I was so excited. It's been such an amazing tool. I love finding things to punch holes in!!
