List our childhood memories ADD LAYOUTS TOO :)

I just saw Kathie's layout of the Beatles (great layout!). She said she is doing a childhood memories album. She listed some of the things she remembered. She said she was googling the pics of these things. I have also found toys & catalogs on ebay that I had so I saved the pics & sent them to the online photo store.They came out great. I have a hard time remembering so I thought we could all list stuff & keep adding to it. Is this a good idea?

I think current events are good too.

Thank you so much! I have had so much fun making this album. (I'm afraid this is going to turn into a series of albums). Everyone's comments have been so positive and that just encourages me to keep going. If we're going to make a list, we need to put our age or approx. age. My memories (age 56) are a lot different than my dd's (age 34)

I could go on all day! I had one of the first Barbie Dolls out. And one of the first Ken Dolls. They had several outfits and I had one of the first Barbie cases. My mom sold them at a garage sale when I was in high school. CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT THEY WOULD BE WORTH NOW??? All I can do is scrap about it. Are you getting the idea of what this album is all about?

Don't you wish you had one of these albums from your great, great grandmother, etc? Make one for your great, great grandchildren!

Kathie, Sandy & Pam, I am so happy to hear you like this!! I hope we get lots of people of all ages posting. I hope the 20 somethings & 30 somethings do it too. My kids are 20's but I am afraid I forget stuff they had or liked. I hope people will post some & then add more when they think of them later.

Kathie, I am so excited by your list! I just turned 50. You have many that pertain to me. I did rember catching lightning bugs. K & Co has a fun lightning bug sticker that is still out. I loved the ice cream man. I loved my Barbie & Francie. I had the black shiny case for Barbie & the octagonal Francie case.I forgot piano lessons.

About the inventions pages- I think it would be nice to include some info about when & how invented & how we did it before the invention & how we felt after it.

It's funny that this topic has been posted because I am working on my older brothers scrapbook of all his baby pic and school pics...etc. My Mom won't scrapbook...Ugh!! I really want to do a page from the 70's when he was born and then the 80's and so on. I have been planning this page for about a week now. I have come up with some of the popular tv shows and music. Downloading pics from google into a photo store is a great idea. I'll have to try that. I can't wait to see what everyones pages look like!!

5. The Brunshall mobile (this was a cot with blankets thrown on top - we would play with it like a fort!)
6. The Halloween parties at our house (my mom was fantastic at throwing parties!!!)
7. Summers at my aunts house (this was a big deal since my 2 older sisters didnt get to do this!!)
8. My friends (that I will never forget!!!)
9. My 4-grade teacher! (My father had just retired from the military and this was the first teacher i had for an entire school year!!)
