Remove rub-on from photo...possible?

How do you remove a rub-on from a photo? I got it on there by mistake and can't get it off.

Scotch tape! Get a piece and make it into a loop, then dab it on and off the photo kinda quick. It should lift it up! It has worked for me and is a life saver!

Or they have those little erasers made just for that! Sorry I dont remember the brands ( I am pretty sure 1 of them is Xyron) they used to carry them here in the superstore. I got mine at J's.

I've heard that the adhesive erasers work. I haven't had this happen yet, so I haven't tried it myself. If you google "adhesive eraser" you'll find somewhere to get one. I searched in the store here, but nothing came up...

Kind of depends on the rub-on.
I've used an adhesive eraser.

I've used the erasers on photos and it doesn remove them but can also smear the photo and has ruined a couple of mine

I've never had luck with erasers either! I am glad it isnt just me!!!

I don't like the erasers on photos... I have the smearing problem too, but they worked well for me on regular papers.

I've tried the eraser...2 different ones and it looks worse than before. I will try the tape now and see if that helps. Thanks

I have an eraser (I can't remember the brand). It's pretty gummy.

If I remember correctly, I blotted the spot, not rubbed.
It probably also depends on whether your photo was printed in a lab or home printer.

forget it if you used walmart to print it.. it will smear and take the finish off the photo. walgreens is better, and i've had luck with undu and my CM gummy pick up square. If its just one, I'm lazy and would reprint the photo.
